Adrian Mellon is an experienced artist and a graduate of the Johannesburg College of Art. Originally from South Africa, Mellon has lived in many different countries throughout his life which have informed and contributed to his unique artistic sensibility. His painted work focuses on the exploration of color. All his works are executed in complementary colors. His paintings are lush explorations of the play of light and shadow on different surfaces and subjects.
